SIZING GUIDE
How to Determine Your True Size: You can easily get your perfect boot size right from the comfort of your own home! Simply follow these professional instructions to measure your feet accurately. Once you have your exact measurements, share them with our team, and we will determine your true Dr. Footers size for a fit that feels tailor-made.
A Word of Advice: Your feet may vary slightly in size throughout the day. For the most comfortable stride, we recommend measuring both feet and selecting your size based on the larger one.
Two A4 sheets of sturdy paper
A sharp pencil or penaccuracy.
A reliable tailor’s measuring tape
Sit with your foot planted firmly on a sheet of paper.
Have a helper trace your outline for best accuracy.
Hold the pencil perfectly upright (90°) so the line follows the true shape of your foot.
While tracing around the toes, apply gentle downward pressure so the toes are at their maximum natural extension.
This ensures a roomy, comfortable fit at the toe box.
Use a tailor’s tape to measure the widest part of the sole, just behind the toes (the ball of the foot).
Note this measurement as your Width.
Wrap the measuring tape completely around the instep—the highest point of the arch.
Record this measurement as your Height.
From the profile drawing, measure the straight-line distance from the rearmost point of the heel to the tip of your longest toe.
Record this as your Length.
Tips and checks
Perform measurements while wearing the socks you plan to use with the shoes or boots.
Measure both feet; use the larger measurements when ordering.
If between standard sizes, consider that Goodyear-welted and handsewn constructions often allow for slight adjustment—consult size guidance if available.
note your current size in similar boots: size, shoe size standard (USA, EU, UK), boots brand.
